An important announcement

My Christmas village is officially a Winter village and may be viewed until the end or middle of February.
At that time it will be decided if it will be re-named as my Spring village,  depending on if I FINALLY have the energy to take the @#$$ lot of it down.

Really that's a new one! I will buy the winter village but spring is not flying for me! Put those kids to work and put it away! You know how I fee about mixing holiday decorations!!! Keep the xmas tree and put hearts on it!

I agree with Frau - get your kids to do it!! You'll get sick of it and it will make you feel grumpy.

Hey...keep out the villages until your sick of them.... if it's like my house....no one would care, or even notice if Easter Eggs were hiddin in them! As I put away my 50th box of Christmas STUFF today..I said what I seem to say every year - "Next Year I'm ONLY doing the tree and seeing if anyone even will notice".... yah... once that turkey baster is in the drawer for the year, I'm the one hunting for my annual "STUFF".... it's what makes us tick! So.... as of now....MOST of my Christmas STUFF is packed in the attic.... and I have to admit... I have a "few" hearts for that Feb 14th holiday...that I LOVE to say I'm not a fan of.... who am I kidding????????????

This year I provided my family with a minimalist decorative home for the holidays. Everyone complained but nobody got off their butts to decorate either. Losers. (I made the 14 year old take the tree apart yesterday...yes, I said take apart, not drag out to the fire pit-again minimalist)

Now this is what we like to see! Creative re-purposing of home decor all year round!

I bet a very sweet winter village too.

Hey I have an idea what about giving the village and decorations their own little room then you never have to take them down just close the door off season. xoxo
