Joya soy candles may solve my problem. Soy candles still put off soot but far less than paraffin.
I found this line at the Gift show and will most likely carry it in the Spring.
I think this particular lacy design is so pretty.
I think a bunch of them spread over a table at Halloween would be beautiful!

Do they come in different colours?
You might give bees wax a try. They do not smoke at all. Expensive but worth it.
They would be glamorous for Halloween, I agree. I have given up on candles since I learned about the soot (I have asthma). xoxo
Have you thought about a melter? They use little tealight candles (or some are electric) and just warm the soy beads enough to melt them and release the scent. I keep one in my office.

Also highly recommend Beanpod candles. Did my research once I discovered how harmful the usual run of the mill candles - like Yankee Candle -really are.
