Hooded sandals...
Hooded sandals...
Is it just me,
or does anyone else think that hooded sandals might not be very flattering?
Alone they look interesting and fresh. It is very rare that I see any advertisements with people actually wearing them. And if they are they usually look like the image below, ( as in thin calves.)
They seem like the 2010 version of gladiators and I don't think of them as flattering either.
Really, these are very attractive but I need the indent of an ankle to make my legs look shapely. These hit at a bad spot.
I love the look of these and I might even be tempted, but this new fashion trend of "hooded sandals" spells fashion victim to me.
Unless you are sixteen and have long, thin calves and then I say,
"Go for it!"
What do you think?

I am so not loving these. I just dont see how they could be flattering on anyone! I see this sort of thing on models and even then they dont look good.
I'm too short and old for those!
The very first pair look hookerish. (not sure if that was a word before now).
In a word.... NO!
Well while I do have long thin calves and I'm 31, I wouldn't wear those at all! They look like thongs for feet!
Yeah I think young tiny feet need to fill these shoes, but they are cute. xo
Hideous!
the pic of the black pair is very cute! but, i think you're right...young, thin, long legs....
xoxo
I'm thinking I could never pull them off. Ever. I've aged out.
Im going for it!! I love mine!
Me no likey! If I had to pick one pair, it would be the tan and brown leather, 4th one down. I think I'm too short @ 5'2". Never tried them though, never know!
Love your header, very pretty. Getting excited for your trip? I know you are!
Have a great weekend!
XOXO
We're with you on this one Miss Player, we really struggle with all of them.
Smiles at you,
