Almost ready...

I am. I'm almost packed and ready to go. Of course I am making sure I have all the important items, including a few changes of clothes, in my carry-on.
Don't want Frau's experience!
There is so many details that are really overwhelming me.
My daughter's schedule written out so Grandma doesn't have to go too crazy.
All my business stuff taken care of.
Bills paid.
House clean, so Grandma doesn't think we are messy.
Money from the bank in the morning.
Car rental stuff.
Obviously it is so worth it, but I almost need a vacation from preparing for my vacation!

I totally spaz when it comes to packing and preparing to leave home. My husband runs away until I am finished because if not I might stuff him into a suit case. I am "ocd" about packing and cleaning before I leave. I can always unwind when I am sitting in the car ready to go. Have a good time....

I laughed at your comment about needing a vacation from your vacation. I always say this, because I get more tired preparing for everything.
Good idea about carrying extra clothes in your carry-on. I always carry at least an extra pair of underwear with me.
I can't remember when you are leaving so just in case I don't get back here (today is my busy day with work and all). Have a WONDERFUL time!! Be safe and enjoy the moment. xoxoxo....

Wow...it's finally arrived...have a safe and great trip! Have you "ironed" out all the wrinkles with un-invited guests wanting to still come??? You're parents must be so excited too!

When I went to Banff last year I had to change planes. I didn't want to lose my luggage so I wore everything I could and did carry on. I looked pretty ridiculous in ski pants in April in the Houston airport but I felt it was worth not losing my luggage. Can't wait to read how your trip goes
