That's what I've been up to ALL day. Not a bad day- playing my favorite sport for hours, having a beautiful luncheon, socializing and playing with old and new friends, and going home with a new paddle sweatshirt.
Now it would have been better if we won more...

Stay warm! Tennis in the cold--I know people love it. I can barely ski in the cold. Sounds fun though.
Ok..time I came clean...I have NO idea what paddle is. Is it a form of tennis/racquetball?

OHN- You are kinda right. It is a game played mostly in the Northeast during winter, outside. It plays like tennis, but with paddles and on a smaller court. It plays like racquetball in that you play off four walls.
So now you know:)

A friend of mine from NJ plays this all the time and loves it! I wonder if there are any courts in the DC area....

I remember my grandmother having a paddle. She used to tell us to behave or she would paddle us like she did my dad! :)
It wasn't until recently I saw this on TV. I think they have courst somewhere near the beach. It looked fun and the same people have been coming to this court for years. Is it a fast paced huffing and puffing type of game?
A great way to spend a day with friends, eat and exercise. Coming home with your t-shirt, reminds me of those those shirt years ago printed "my xxx went xxx and all I got was this t-shirt. LOL...
