And we're not talking about the amazing pilot, Chesley B. "Sully" Sullenberger!No, we're talking about Lucky the dog, my sister's dog.
She is one of those dogs that goes crazy following a flashlight beam, so one holiday we had a couple of kids lay down and my sister had her run after the beam and jump over the kids.
She cleared it perfectly!
We began to add more kids... in this picture there are nine kids that she jumped over successfully! I believe that is the record.
So, every holiday for the next few years we would have Lucky do this, always rewarded with some treats of course. But now, maybe the treats have caused this, she is older and a bit chubbier. She can't do nine kids, definitely five though. We love Lucky.

I LOVE THIS PHOTO!!! Is Lucky a Jack? I've got a Rat Terrier and he is also an unbelievable jumper, but really, NINE KIDS, oh my gosh! What a kick!

OHn- You are so right! In fact these days the kids that are the sharpest make sure they are not on the end...Lucky isn't as spry these days.

I just love that picture!!!! I always wanted a Rat Terrier, but my daughter is allergic, thats why we got a poodle.
Lucky should try out for Pet Star on Animal Planet! (You know, the one with Mario, from Saved By The Bell?!!) LOL
