Italian Cookies= I have a problem

Fortunately we live in the NY area which most likely has as high of a concentration of Italians as does Italy.
With that comes amazing food and of course, baked goods.
This is where it becomes unfortunate... for me.
I have a problem. I have NEVER met a cookie I didn't like and it is near impossible for me to ever have just one.
Especially Italian cookies.
I consider cannolies a cookie, especially the mini's. Luckily the richness of the creme deters me from having too many.
Ah, the Italian Christmas cookies... they are like bread. I could easily consume a dozen of these,
REALLY.
The knot cookies are basically the same.
And the lemon ricotta cookies?
Heaven. Pure heaven.
all these pics were not taken by ME! borrowed from google images :)

I snagged a few of these beauties when I was in NYC down in little Italy.

If I lived there, I would need an intervention.

I am sad that as I look at those amazing pictures I do not have one cookie in the house. I want to have a cookie right now. Bye
