So, I worked an event all day yesterday and it was great. What wasn't great was that I couldn't find my glasses after the first hour. This was especially frustrating because the town I was working in ( Scarsdale, NY) has the craziest sales tax ever!

I could not do this in my head and had to use a calculator that I could not see. The light was dim where I was situated and my calculator was a small one.
I really needed one like this with extra large numbers.
It's not like I am blind, but I have to say I was really squinting all day and would have paid for glasses had they been available and maybe even for the old lady magnifiers shown above!

I can only read without my glasses, if someone holds the paper across the room.
Though this comes in handy to read over shoulders...you know, for spying purposes :)

I am horrible at math and with this stye on my left eyelid driving me bananas I have a bit of a blurry vision at the moment..... xoxo PS you remember that picture you posted a few posts ago of the vintage paddle court.... it is at my club too!!
