VERY Sperry!

Have you noticed?
Most college kids are wearing Sperry Top-siders.
I predict a trickle down affect and that by Spring you will see the high school crowd wearing them too.
It isn't just the kids. The NYC fashionistas are sporting them too, especially the guys.
At the urban outfitters in the NY area, they are the footwear of choice. The hot pink pair above is part of a hot colored line developed with the uber fashionable boutique, Jeffery's, in NYC.
These grey, suede beauties are perfect for my guys.
YOU know I need these.
These denim and blue patent top-siders would look so cute with the new denim leggings and a polo or starched white button-down.

If you are starting to think of Christmas gifts these might be something interesting to put under the tree... they might not even know they want them.
Yet.

Oh I loved my Sperry's back in the "day". I actually have a pair of slides or mules that look like deck shoes that I wear a lot of during the Summer and early Fall.

I loved wearing Sperry's in college. The colors and styles are so much better today! In fact, I just bought a green canvas with navy anchor pair this spring and wear them all the time!

i love love love the duck shoes! too bad i already have the ll bean ones :( sperry's here are such a craze. I don't like it because I've had sperry's all of my life, and I know that all of the people wearing them only got them so they could "fit in". plus it drives me nuts when they all wear them in the snow!! but anyways, all of the ones you've listed are So cute!!

Sperrys have been really popular here for a long time. J2 got a pair when she was a jr in 2006 or so and my friend's daughter had to get the pink ones for rush at College of Charleston before that. Was it a southern thing I thought was going on everywhere?

Mr. P. M. still wears a pair 25 yrs. old! Alas, I had to let mine go. I need padding now!! You always find the latest preppy trends. Wonder if they would take that into consideration for aging baby boomers. :0

I love them I have a red, white and blue plaid pair and pink, white and green plaid they are so comfortable. The kids at Kate's school all wear them I think they are pretty popular here.

The kids around here have been wearing them for several years. They thought they discovered them and that they were "new". I hated breaking it to my kids that I wore them many years ago. I love all of the new colors. Did you wear the belts that were interchangeable little buckles and different colored straps? I would love to find those somewhere. I believe I had every little critter belt buckle they made. So much fun!

I love Sperry's. This summer, I saw a gal wearing the cutest Sperry flip-flops. They were so girly, with a little leather bow on the top.
I just can't find them:(
