The plan...

Do you have the same problem that I do?
You sit down on the computer and somehow, you look at the clock and 5 hours have gone by?
And you haven't accomplished anything?

So here is my plan.
I am setting the kitchen timer 30 minutes. and then I will clean.
When that goes off I am setting the timer for another 30 minutes and I get blogging time.
Then setting it another 30 minutes- do bills.
Another 30 minutes- phone work.
Another 30 minutes-computer work
another 30 minutes- blogging!
And so on.
I am, basically, structuring myself.
Someone has to.

This happens to me on a regular basis.

This is a great idea!
I do this sort of thing when I am watching tv at night - I get up at every commercial break and clean something!

Aaaahhhhhhh! A timer. That's what I need. YES! I have the exact same problem. I have 1000 things to do and I was just going to check my email, but 2 hours later and I'm still on this computer. It's like an addictive drug.

Good idea! Implementing immediately and making my timer the "bad guy".

This happens to me too. I will say "no more than one hour" (I am an early riser), then before I know it, I am late for work! Blogging and reading blogs has definitely ruined my book reading!! I don't think a timer would work for me, but I just have to get more disciplined about my housework! xoxo

Sounds like a good plan let me know how it works!!

Wow, I can TOTALLY relate... I think I need to set 2 timers, one 10 minutes later to remind me AGAIN to take my fingers off the keyboard... I too, blame computer time for less reading time...
Sounds like a good "recovery" plan... keep us posted!
