White kitchen/dark floor

 We all know the upside...
The white cabinets and woodwork POP!
Everything looks rich and beautiful.
I plan on doing this in our new kitchen and...
I need to know, What is YOUR experience?
Do you see every piece of dust , animal hair, footprint, or streak?
or is it SO worth it?

Definitely worth it! The white/cream does show dirt/wear a lot more easily, but it looks stunning! At home, we have a dark hardwood floor with off-white wood cabinetry and granite counters. I'm obsessed. It looks so classic and nice.
Just from opening the cabinets and such they get a little dirty looking, but it's very easily cleaned. I think at the house the wood probably gets cleaned thoroughly every couple of weeks with spot cleaning as needed. We use a cleaner that my mom's friend suggested (she has essentially the same kitchen). It's in a brownish beige bottle and it smells like orange. I'm totally blanking on the name, but it's genius and saves so much elbow grease! I'm thinking it starts with a J...?

Love it! Put the kids on a swifter schedule and all will be good! I can't wait to see it!

I have wood floors, but not dark wood. I have seriously been considering painting my kitchen cabinets, etc...white. I'm a little worried about how the fingerprints, etc...will show on white though.
What does your kitchen look like now?

We have dark wood kitchen floors and they look fantastic. Yes they do show everything, all the time.

If you are a neat freak they will drive you nuts, but I'd do it again in a heartbeat.
