Oh Boy'a I just got back from La Jolla!
Am I the only one that pronounced or thought in my head that La Jolla sounded like La Joe-la or maybe, La Jaw-la?
Now I know that it sounds like La Hoya :)
And, I found out in the best way possible... by going there. Just spent a marvelous weekend checking out that jewel of a town. details to follow.

You probably passed my house. We lived within walking distance of La Jolla shores. We were across the street from the La Jolla Racquet and Swim Club.
I miss it terribly, but not how expensive it was.
