What would I do without these two?

Everyone always told me, "You are so lucky that you have three sons, they are so easy!"
Love my sons.
 Easy?
Not quite.
My girls?
VERY easy.
Now, I am POSITIVE that these two have pulled the same shenanigans as their brothers and I know they weren't perfect angels...
However- they were so nice about it!
No screaming fights. No slamming doors. No confrontational moments. No police!
Some would argue that they seemed so good because they never got caught doing bad things...
That may be true and you know what?
I appreciate that!

The difference as far as I can tell?
My boys did what they wanted to do and made themselves happy.
My girls did what they wanted to do and made themselves AND still kept their parents happy!
I'm sure they had to be extra sneaky in order to do that...
but they had to be thoughtful too :)

What is your experience?
Was one gender easier for you to raise?
I would never generalize to say all girls are easier than all boys.
But for me, these two are.

I'm with you on this one. My girls were a dream. If I'd stopped with just the two of them I'd be traveling the country giving parenting advice.

My boys. OMG. I just hope I survive.

Such beautiful daughters! I have a girl (7) and a boy (5) and they can both be challenging in their own ways. It'll be interesting to see what the teenage years hold!
